Security Skills That Actually Stick

We teach infrastructure security the way people actually learn – through hands-on scenarios that mirror what you'll face in the field. No boring lectures. No certifications that gather dust.

Our programs run through autumn 2025 and into early 2026. You'll work through real network configurations, actual security incidents, and the kind of troubleshooting that keeps you up at night when you're responsible for keeping systems safe.

And here's what matters: you'll learn at your own pace, with support when you need it.

Three Ways to Build Your Security Knowledge

We've structured our programs around how people actually progress in this field. Start where it makes sense for you.

Foundation Track

You're switching careers or just starting in IT security. This track covers networking fundamentals, basic security concepts, and builds up to hands-on infrastructure work.

We spend time on topics others skip – like how to read logs effectively, or why certain vulnerabilities matter more than others in real environments.

6 months · Starts October 2025

Professional Development

You've got IT experience but need to specialize in security. This path focuses on infrastructure hardening, threat detection, and incident response.

Most participants come from system admin roles and want to transition into dedicated security positions. The coursework reflects that.

4 months · Starts September 2025

Advanced Specialization

For security professionals who need specific skills. Choose from penetration testing, cloud security architecture, or security automation modules.

These are targeted programs. You pick what you need, work through it, and move on. No filler content.

2-3 months · Rolling enrollment

How This Actually Works

Our program structure adapts to how you learn best. Some people need structure and deadlines. Others work better with flexibility. Both approaches work here.

  • Self-paced labs you can access anytime – most students work evenings and weekends around their current jobs
  • Live troubleshooting sessions twice weekly where we work through complex scenarios together
  • Small group discussions (6-8 people) focused on specific security challenges
  • Direct access to instructors through our private channel – questions get answered within a few hours, not days
  • Real infrastructure to practice on, not simulations that feel like video games

What surprised our 2024 cohort most was how much they learned from each other. When someone shares how they tackled a particularly tricky firewall configuration, everyone benefits. That's the kind of knowledge sharing we encourage.

Where People Started and Where They Ended Up

Portrait of Liam Okonkwo

Liam Okonkwo

Network Administrator → Security Engineer

Liam spent three years managing network equipment for a mid-sized manufacturer. He understood routing and switching but felt lost when security incidents happened.

During the Professional Development track, he worked through our incident response scenarios. The breakthrough came when he successfully traced a network intrusion through log files – something that seemed impossible to him six months earlier.

"I finally understood what I was looking at in those logs. Now I'm the one other techs come to when something seems off with our network traffic."

Help Desk Support → Junior Security Analyst

Freya was stuck in a help desk role, resetting passwords and troubleshooting printer issues. She knew there was more to IT but didn't know how to break into security work.

The Foundation Track gave her the technical base she needed. But what really helped was learning to think like an attacker – understanding why certain configurations create vulnerabilities.

"I was intimidated by security work before. Now I understand it's about being methodical and curious, not about being some kind of hacker genius."

Systems Engineer → Cloud Security Specialist

Saskia's company was moving infrastructure to the cloud, and she needed to understand cloud-specific security concerns. Fast.

She took the Advanced Specialization in cloud security and worked through configurations for AWS and Azure environments. The hands-on practice with identity management and encryption helped her secure her company's migration.

"The program was exactly what I needed – no fluff, just practical configurations and security patterns that I could apply immediately at work."

Ready to Start?

Our next cohorts begin in September and October 2025. Here's what you need to know about joining a program and what to expect once you're in.

What You Need Before Starting

For the Foundation Track, you need basic computer literacy and genuine interest in security work. That's it. We'll teach you the technical skills.

For Professional Development, you should have at least one year of IT experience – help desk, system administration, or network support. You don't need security experience, but you should be comfortable working with servers and networks.

Advanced Specialization requires active security work experience. You should already understand security fundamentals and be looking to deepen specific skills.

Program Schedule and Time Commitment

Plan on 10-15 hours weekly for most programs. That includes lab work, reading, and live sessions. Some weeks will be lighter, others heavier depending on the modules.

  • Foundation Track September 15, 2025 – March 8, 2026
  • Professional Development October 1, 2025 – January 25, 2026
  • Advanced Modules Rolling start dates through 2026
  • Live Sessions Tuesdays 7:00 PM, Thursdays 8:00 PM Taiwan time

Can't make the live sessions? They're recorded and available within an hour. But you'll get more from the program if you can attend at least one session weekly.

What Happens After You Enroll

You'll get access to the learning platform three days before your official start date. Use that time to set up your lab environment and get familiar with how everything works.

First week includes an orientation session where we walk through the curriculum, show you how to use the resources, and answer questions. You'll also meet your cohort – these connections often become valuable as you progress in security work.

Throughout the program, you'll have access to our instructor team and technical support. Most questions get answered same-day through our platform.
